[Chris6564's] How to play in 64-bit

Seeing as how you cannot play in 64 bit (atleast some people). All you need to do is do a simple fix

1. Right click the file "!Run" (or "!Run.bat")
2. Left click on the "Edit" Button
3. Locate/Remove the following line

Quote :

start javaw -Xmx512m -cp .;Theme.jar Gui

4. Replace that line and put

Quote :

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin\javaW.exe" -Xmx512m -cp .;Theme.jar Gui

5. Save the file
6. Open up "!Run" and try to play.

(Also if this does NOT work at first. Go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\" and see what the folder is called. Look for any "Jre". Example instead if you have jre5 instead of jre6 put

instead of the normal thing

Dude this won't work without setting PATH.

Computer-Right Click-Properties.

Open Advance System settings.

Find that nice little tab called Environmental Variables.


Click New in User variables.

CLASSPATH

CLASSPATH=C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.6.0_10\bin;%CLASSPATH%;

Or whatever u saved the java, you get it?

Next New.

PATH
C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.6.0_10\bin



If you still cannot, try to get older versions of java.

It better help :\. Or buy a new com T_T.

ummm it still should work cause your speciifying where you want the java to come from. It worked perfectly find on both my brothers and my dad's laptop when i checked it. Aswell my mom's pc. So its not specificed to laptop or pc. But maybe i just got lucky you never know. If you test this and it does NOT work let me know?

It won't work on some servers which have their class all randomized. I tried it before and it failed on 508++ servers.

That is indeed correct however, this is a guide how to run THIS server on 64. Not some crappy 508 or 562. No offense those who play them.
